The Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT, is mandatory for students willing to do MBA from USA and few leading UK Universities.
The specialized training centre across 17 cities in India holds the GMAT score, which remains valid for 5 years. It is around 3:30 hours in duration and one can attempt the exam up to 5 times in a calender year.
A GMAT exam has of the following sections:
1. Analytical Writing Assessment — Your first question in the exam will make you write on 1 Topic. This lasts half an hour and the topic tests your analysis of argument.
2. Integrated Reasoning — 12 questions are asked in 30 minutes on Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, and Table Analysis.
3. Quantitative — This section lasts for 75 minutes and 37 questions are asked on Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving.
4. Verbal – The last section has 41 questions to be answered in 75 minutes on Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction.
